Architect Anislava Beliovska Stantcheva


Born in 26.05.1957г. in Sofia.

Obtained her Master degree in Architecture in 1980 at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Sofia.

1980 – 1989 – she worked for Hidrostoij where she used to manage an architectural collective.

In 1988 she started her teaching career at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy of Sofia where she was a teaching assistant until 2004 in the Building Construction department.

Between 1991 and 1995 Architect Anislava Beliovska Stantcheva lived and worked in Casablanca, Marocco where she worked for one year in a private architectural studio and 3 years as an interior architecture and design teaching professor in the Casablanca Art Com private superior school for communication and design.

Since 1995 Architect Anislava Beliovska Stantcheva has been working as a freelance architect.

Her main projects:

  • Series of prefabricated temporary housings for workers which have been used all over the country
  • Exterior urban planning solution for the experimental manufacturing building of the National Business Partnership Hydrostroy at 114 Communist Manifesto Blvd
  • A landscape architecture and rehabilitation plan for Benkovski District in Sofia
  • General plans for repair facilities of the National Business Partnership Hydrostroy in Peshtera, Burgas, Dimitrovgrad, Chaira, Asarel MOK
  • Furnishing of holiday homes furnishing for the National Business Partnership Hydrostroy around the country – successfully implemented
  • A residential building for Japanese specialists in Chaira Pump-Storage Hydroelectric Plant – successfully implemented
  • Industrial halls in the repair facilities of the National Business Partnership Hydrostroy
  • A large number of residential complexes and single family houses including the one of famous Bulgarian opera singer Gena Dimitrova
  • The marketplace project in Berrechid was won in a competition and implemented by the Sbay Architect Studio
  • Cultural Centre in Berrechid /Morocco/
  • Realized furniture projects for several hotels, commercial areas, offices and residences in Casablanca, Rabat and Agadir in Morocco and in Bulgaria.
  • Oued Ed-Dahab Housing District, Mohammedia /Morocco/
  • A residential building on Zornitsa Street, Lozenets Housing District – successfully implemented
  • A house of B. M. in Bistritsa – realized
  • A house of V. St. in German – realized
  • A house of Iv. M. in Dragalevtsi – realized
  • Realized together with Architect Pavel Stantchev the administrative, business centre on Moskovska 9 Street which hosts the Permanent Representation of the European Commission and the European Parliament, The British Embassy and the Consulate of Canada in Sofia.
  • Air duct manufacturing plant, Gorublyane
  • Urbanisation projects, as she realized several ones for the cities of Stara Zagora, Botevgrad, Kavarna, Shabla and others.

Architect Anislava Beliovska Stantcheva has participated in many competitions and has been awarded prizes several times:

  • 1st place at a national competition for a project for a school in Sofia, 1986
  • 3rd place at a national competition for a project for a school in Sofia, 1986
  • Encouragement award for a commercial centre in Kazanluk, Bulgaria
  • National competition for traditional housing – 3rd premium – 3rd place
  • 1st place at the competition for a cultural institute and a market in Berrechid
  • Sofia award “Building of the year 2002” for the administrative, business centre on Moskovska 9 Street
